Finding your way around the site
We hope that you’ll find our website easy to navigate and to browse products. These four features will help make your shopping experience even easier.
Home page: Our homepage displays links to our Special Offers section, our Just Arrived section which includes the latest product releases, and our Due Soon section which shows products which we expect to receive in the next few weeks.
Navigation bar: The navigation bar at the left-hand side of the screen shows the names of the main "departments" of our online shop. Clicking on one of these names will take you to a new page that contains all sections and products included in that area. It also includes links to our Homepage and to our Customer Services Page.
Search boxes: The search boxes are always on the left-hand side of the screen under the navigation bar. You can search by brand name or by product using key words such as the product name or the product code.
Your basket: Your basket summary is always shown at the top right of the screen. It shows you the number of items and the total value of goods you’ve put into your basket.
Using the Search facility
Our Search engine works by checking your search term against all the product names and product codes currently on the website. It then shows products on the page that may match your query.
You can search product names in broad terms or be more precise, but remember that a more generic term may return far too many results for you to sift through. If you’re looking for a particular item and you know the product code you can enter this number for a very precise search.
Using the Brand Search Facility
If you are looking for products from a particular brand or manufacturer you can view all of the products associated with that brand by simply selecting the appropriate brand from the Brand drop-down list at the side of the screen
Payment Options
We offer various ways for you to pay for your order, including: Visa; MasterCard; Switch; Delta; Maestro; Solo. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept American Express.
Creating an Account
When you go to checkout for the first time you will be prompted to create a Customer Account. Once you have created an account you will be able to shop faster in future, and view your order history.
To create an account you simply need to complete your name, address and contact details and then set yourself a password. We respect your privacy and will only use the personal information that you supply us when using our website, to ensure that your orders are processed effectively and our service meets your requirements (See our Privacy Policy for full details).
Whenever you wish to shop in future you will simply need to sign in using your e-mail address and password and you won’t need to re-enter your name and address details when passing through the checkout so saving time.
Creating your order
You can items to your shopping basket simply by clicking the Add to Cart button shown on the product listings page or on the product details page. For your convenience, your Shopping Cart is always visible at the top right of the screen and this will show details of any products you have added together with a total order value.
You can view the full details of your Shopping Cart at anytime by simply clicking on the Shopping Cart heading. This will then show the product descriptions of all items in your basket together with the quantity required and the total price for that item or items. There will also be a Sub-total shown at the bottom which represents the total value of goods required. An estimated shipping charge will be shown based upon the total order value but your actual shipping charge may differ if you require shipping to a remote destination. Your actual shipping cost will be calculated automatically at the checkout stage based upon your delivery address details in accordance with our published shipping tariff (See How much will it cost? in our Customer Services Delivery section)
When viewing your shopping basket you can amend the quantity ordered by changing the quantity shown in the box to the right of the product description or remove an item from the basket by clicking on the box to the left of the product description. After making amendments click on the Update Cart button and the contents of your shopping basket will reflect the changes made.
From this point you can either continue browsing and adding further items by clicking on the Continue Shopping button or you can proceed to the checkout to complete your order and to pay by clicking on the Order Now button.
